It had rained overnight in Corvara so the roads were wet when we left but it wasn't raining. The good thing was that the roads were ours - hardly any traffic. the previous day’s walk was definitely worthwhile.
After a light breakfast we walked across to Champfer where
we collected two bicycles from Stef. From there we set off on a cycle tour

into the lee of the mountain where conditions were marginally more pleasant.
Here there was snow and a valley of magnificent color extremes. The rocks
varied in color from green to red to purple and white. At the base of these colorful
cliffs was a lake of the most amazing turquoise blue.
After another hour’s walk we arrived at the Jurg Jenatsch Hut
Camper sleeping always takes some getting used to. Altitude
doesn’t help either. Fortunately I was so tired that it didn’t matter.
We woke up to an overcast and cold morning and after a quick
breakfast Corinne and Stef decided that a warm up walk would be in order. The

... our camper van ready for the drive to the Engadin Valley
where we plan to stay for the next week. After an awesomely scenic drive,
featuring lakes and mountains, we arrived at our camp ground in Silvaplana.
After a quick shower we drove over to Stef’s house in Chamfer for a home cooked
meal with Stef and her boyfriend Jan.
Then back to the camp for a good night’s sleep.
