L Anse Aux Epines St. George, St. George's, Bermuda
... I would put this sound int eh top 5 noises you do not want to hear when your airplane takes off!! The guy next to me looks at me ( like I am going to know what the noise is?!). He was like "that isn't a good noise", I said "no, not at all". I kind of figured maybe the lavatory smoke detector went off by mistake. In any case, it stopped after a few, and the rest of the flight was quite uneventful. ( always a good thing!)

Was amazingly smooth ride, quite surprising to me as there ...
Hamilton Parish, Bermuda marshallbdaWe were supposed to arrive in Bermuda at 6pm but didn't get there until 11pm because of motor problems and couldn't berth until daylight so we waited until morning. Got off the ship and caught a ferry to the capital (can't remember name) and walked around the shops. A very expensive place. Funny to see business men in Bermuda shorts with shirts and ties. It was very hot. We found a couple of bars to have a beer and get into the ...
Bermuda, Bermuda stephgraemeWe didn't actually experience this day! The only way it exists to us is in the form of a UK newspaper we found in a little post office on the Island of Waiheke.

So if you did anything bad today, you're let off the hook.

(We weren't actually in Bermuda by the way)
Bermuda, Bermuda stephanie813... people could swim with the dolphins for about $300.00 per person. The museum is worth the $10.00 each, very interesting, we learned allot about prisoners and slaves who were taken to Bermuda many years ago. Part of their punishment was to build the forts in Bermuda. There is a small cove behind the Fort where you can go snorkeling, allot of the cruise ship passengers use this area to swim in since it's so close.

After the museum we dropped by the rum cake ...
St. George, Bermuda tricia.sears... St. George's to the beach. The last day in Bermuda was mainly spent shopping. We first started in Hamilton and determined that the new slogan for the island's biggest city should be: "Have fun in Hamilton.....if you can". Even the festival later that night proved to be very dissappointing. Kind of like a poor man's Bele Chere. Oh well. Anyway, we look forward to seeing everyone in a couple of days. Love, Mike and Becky
St. George, Bermuda beckymike... seemed to be too harsh in the nearly three years he has worked at 9 Beaches.

Later, we enjoy a leisurely stroll over to Snuggler's Cover for one last view of our romantic hideaway (yes, we've adopted it as our very own). Then we climb atop a rock formation to get a fantastic view of a great little snorkeling spot we'll have to explore when we come back. Time is ...
Somerset, Bermuda globetrotters... 136. It was very close to the entrance and the piano and seemed like we would be in the way of the waiters; however, we were very comfortable there. We checked out the various areas on the ship. The Zenith is much smaller than the Millennium and Constellation, but I felt very comfortable on board. The Zenith has a cozier feel. At the Marina bar we met up with some of the cruise critic members for our sail away party. We hung out for a ...
Hamilton, Bermuda mjpileggiToday, I've met Cindy in Hamilton and we went to see Fort Hamilton. They have a windpipe band that plays there every monday, mainly for tourists. The view from there is great. You see the whole of Hamilton. We then went to Victoria park and ate something. Then, we spent the afternoon looking for stuff and shopping ;-)
Hamilton, Bermuda mikebot... flakes. Like all things, this plant is one that is being pushed aside with modern times and development of the island. It's quicker to pop an aspirin. Ft. Scaur sits on the highest hill in Somerset. The views are good here. On a clear day you can see panoramic views of Ely's Harbor and the Great Sound. Britan constructed the fort in the 1800's, along with the numerous forts on the island. I heard once that Bermuda has the largest ...
Daniels Head, Bermuda kupdegraDay 7( 7-16-05)- This was a sailing day. Woke up around noon to catch lunch. Basically laid out on deck all day to catch some last minutes rays. By this time, I have a pretty killer tan. Everyone has gotten good sun without burning too bad. I am much darker than I have been in over 10 years! Everyone on the ship was on deck 7 it seemed. The day was gorgeous, perfect for sailing. There was a good mix of music being played ...
