    A ghost town this morning, with even the "Shopping", what they call a mall here, not open. A bit of a wait for a bus but at least turned out to be free – others have been half price on Sundays.

    Not so, long distance! - but happily frequent services as the queue was over 20 mins long. But both were far shorter than the queue of traffic on the BR 101 going south towards the beaches – happily took ...

    ... insane, so amazing! It's a beautiful area even though basic, I'm looking forward to trying to sleep in the hammock, I think it's will be comfy. We are all sat now in the hammock area paying cards while some have gone for a walk, it really feels like a holiday now and I'm surrounded by awesome people :)

    In my bed/hammock it's still hot we are all not wanting to wear pajamas or use the thick blanket ...

    ... due to thunderstorm at around oh.. 7am. The time we’d planned to be walking out the door of the hostel. So we face these odds armed with the following strategy: Use the most front, or most rear train cabin so our luggage has least chance of upsetting other people. Adorn our wet weather jackets and shoes and cover our bags in garbage bags.
