... hired a moped the exact same thing happened, as soon as we made it to the other side of the island we got stuck in a monster downpour. So we didn't get to see much else of the island after that, Cenang beach seemed to be the only place that the rain avoided so it made sense to just stay there. After 6 days on Langkawi we jumped on a ferry and then another really good, super new overnight bus back to Kuala Lumpur where we had a few days before catching a flight over to ...

We stay at Pantai Cenang, the main beach area, and score a little family house with separate kitchen and lounge for less than we were paying in Penang. For our last full day on the island, my Dad and I hopped onto a boat for a $13 island hopping tour. For that little, I was hesitant with my expectations - only to be vastly pleasantly surprised.

Cruising around the islands was spectacular in itself - much less our first destination: The Island of the Pregnant Maiden.

Today we decide to take a walk in to town and see what is on offer. We debated staying on monkey watch again, but decided that we would go for a potter and take up our watch later. But first we will talk about breakfast. This place is unusual in that it delivers breakfast the evening before so you can have it whatever time you like. But today is different. I have ordered an Asian breakfast, we have no idea what it involves so we wait for it to be delivered with great anticipation. ...
