... When I asked the guy who had served us he gave me the same look, laughed and said "cheese? No." So promptly went outside and stuck my fingers down my throat. Delightful.
Once we'd recovered and got into the swing of things we started to see what Penang was all about. It is actually a really cool place. We followed the walking route and found all of this amazing art painted on the walls around town. It was like doing a treasure hunt, some of them small and hidden ...

The staff were so so friendly checking us in. We were given a mobile phone so we could called them whenever we needed anything. We had to wait one hour until our room was ready. Once ...

... ferry port town of Kedah. It was here we found the huge eagle statue and again took some more replicas of the ones Dave and Hannah had taken but we think the joke had worn out by then.

Langkawi has been a great place for us to just stop and sit still for a bit. Its very rare that we stay in the same accommodation as long as we have here also. Our needs are few though and when we find it all together in one place, we can appreciate it and just stop to soak it up.
