Absolutely beautiful, when the taxi driver first stopped on the main road just 1 min away from the hotel I was starting to panic, the look of the land here looks scary and frightening upon first glance however like that old saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover) just below the highway there is a canal which leads to the hotel and the path is covered in beautiful green. The hotel staff where friendly and welcoming and offered us a flower tea upon arrival. The rooms are beautiful for the price they charge and the food very tasty, I have found myself quickly become addicted to the spring rolls here! (the funny side of this story is my partner was really looking forward to the food in ASIA however his stomach appears to agree a lot less than mine does, and yep you guess it, I was dreading the food) The staff waiter for you all day and night and are generally over friendly (in a good way). I would stay here again due to the nice air conditioned rooms to the beautiful outside pool.

Ahhh, the Tree House. A pleasant and beautiful oasis in the middle of noisy, dirty Bangkok. A great place to make your home base. Soft beds, lots of clean towels and hot water. Free bottled water, very good breakfast included. Great bar a few feet away - The Rolling Bar with better than hotel prices on beer and a great Chicken Coconut soup!

Completely refreshing pool. Great, quiet place to come back to after a crazy day in Bangkok. Delicious eastern & western breakfast options.

Breakfast at the Lamphu Tree House was a real surprise. Fresh fruit and cereal. Hot coffee and toast. Scrambled egg, potato gratin, bacon and tomatoes. Proper delight. Set off for the Golden Mount and got lost which turned out to be a stroke of luck. A Thai man saw that we were lost and saved us from the traffic chaos and near death. He explained …

After getting settled into our hotel last night (or really this morning at about 2am), we decided not to get a real early start and meet for breakfast at 8. That's not exactly sleeping in but the next 2 mornings we'll be getting up at 5 or so. Regardless, we were all up easily since it felt like an afternoon nap on eastern time. Breakfast was …

We boarded our Emirates flight and found our seats. Unbelievably Mark was sandwiched between two Manxies. The unknown man, told us he was going to Phuket for 3 months to stay with his brother and worked at Peel Yacht Club. After a 6 hour flight to Dubai, we got off the plane and had a couple of hours to burn before our next flight to Bangkok. just …
