stay in the USA. I left a week early since the weather was looking
bleak (to say the least) and I was running out of warm socks to wear.
Storm, Tag and Baby had an uneventful trip south. Amazing the number
of silly drivers taking out guardrails in the northern couple of

Woke to a clear sky and crisp temperature - about 8 degrees C when we left St Ignace. Went back to Java Joe's for a great cooked breakfast. I do like the way they make eggs with runny yolks. .

Over the Mackinac Bridge one more time before turning east to avoid the highway. As we moved south the weather changed and we had periods of cloud, drizzle and then rain.

Bought some Chibatta rolls and tomato at Family Fare ...
