Lamana Port Moresby

... is a lot more chilled out and is seen as been the most tourist oriented city in the country. The town is in a very picturesque location with a huge harbour with loads of tropical islands dotted about. There's still hardly any white people in the town and those who are there are generally either missionaries or there for the diving. Salut, déjà dans l'avion de la compagnie Air Niugini, tu sens que la notion de luxe et de confort risque d'être sensiblement différente en Papouasie. At terminal the doors are locked so we stand outside in the heat waiting for something to happen. 0930 hrs - They open the doors and let us in to check-in (air-conditioning off - 100% humidity). 1100 hrs - They open customs/immigration 1300 hrs - Finally get on plane back to Brisbane.
