Very sad to be leaving Penang because it's been so good. The people have been really warm, restoring our faith in Malaysia and the place just makes you feel chilled and relaxed. Breakfast in the courtyard was busy filled with people on visa runs from Thailand, who piled in with their visa applications and passports ready to hand over to the hotel staff. The weather has been fantastic, we are lucky as they have been having a lot of rain but so far so good. ... it when we were at Kho Khai Nai Island and Brad reakons he was told that it depends whether you're greeting a male or a female. So I said "Kob-Khun-Krap" to a man and he laughed at me and told me I have to say Kob-Khun-Ka. That is what I had been doing and then Brad started to confuse things!
