We were a bit over-tired with our early start this morning, and somehow managed to miss the boat we were meant to be on so had to join another group for the first leg of the trip.

After a very bumpy 45minute speedboat ride, our first stop was Maya Bay which is where the movie "The Beach" was filmed. It is a gorgeous bay surrounded by high cliffs, with water so clear and green it looks unreal. Unfortunately the beauty was somewhat spoiled by a thousand ...

Getting out of bed after a day where we cycled 108 miles is not straightforward. Fortunately the hotel room was far enough away from luxurious to get us up and packing. I remember the sign on the way down the stairs claiming 'clean restroom'. I think the management were keen to impress that at least they had one clean room in the building.
