when we came we noticed that there is no one there. they all have a off day. otherewise you can join for the half day for shool to teach english or to just play with the children.

... very incredible experience in which I learned a lot about Buddhism, as well as about myself. Between the notes that I took from the teachings, and all of my thoughts, I filled an entire journal. I definitely hope that I'll be able to come back here some day, or maybe visit another monastary somewhere else in the world!

It is not always this perfect. But it is the peacefulness of this atmosphere and the beauty of this culture and peoples that easily offsets the difficult times like the series of problems I endured in getting here.

... after I could hardly speak! Although we’d only been there for four nights, it felt a lot longer - in the best possible way! Both locals and tourists smiled and said ‘hello’ whenever we passed, and everyone was so honest and friendly - we didn’t have one bit of aggravation the whole time we were there, which was a welcome reprieve! We feel incredibly blessed to have found such a special place, and are in no doubt that we’ll make our way back there in years to come…
... t about to be getting too fussy. Halfway through our plate the street vendor had the good courtesy to inform us that we were in fact eating goat intestines! A little shocked we polished off the plate regardless. A second added bonus of this area is that they really can cook western foods and make western drinks, we ended up stopping twice in Mcleod Ganj today for coffee, it really was pretty much as good as home. It was comforts like this ...
