At Kawaguchiko Station, I was about to call K's Mount Fuji Hostel when a girl asked me if by any chance if I was going to a hostel and if it was K's. We both needed to be picked up by their shuttle. The weather is nice and by now it is also lunchtime.... we have a simple lunch on an outdoor patio, things are working out just fine! After a while we continue our trip to the pink moss fields. When the GPS says we have reached our destination there are no fields to be found in the immediate area. We drive around a couple of times, nothing there ...

So after a hectic week in Tokyo it was a short hop back south to coastal town of Ito on the Izu peninsula, and very nice it was to, I'd managed to book a few nights here at an old style Japanese onsen ryokan, ryokans are traditional style inns and this one had the added bonus of onsite onsen ( hot spring baths, very popular in Japan) So I spent a few laid back days exploring the coast, including a day strolling the jogasaki Coast and a visit to a couple ...
