... but I didn't want us to get too wet and freeze on the bus. So we spent some time in the gift shop...probably the highlight of Samuel's day. He decided to spend the money his Grandma gave him on some police lego. Before we caught a taxi home from the bus depot we took a slight detour to Giordano's pizzeria just for Sarah. It was so late - 9pm and the pie based pizza (their speciality) took 40 minutes so we went for their standard pizza and an entree salad ...

Today we had a blast at Legoland. We went on many fun rides. We started off in The World of Chima. The World of Chima is a world where animals have evolved to be like humans. They walk like us, talk like us and don’t always get along with other Chima Tribes (like us). Tribes are categorized by animals. There are Lions, Eagles and ...

So we decided we could go to a different park on our third day. We went to Hollywood Studios. Good choice as this seemed to be where the adults with no kids were. First stop was the Star Wars ride (Karina's choice, she didn't want to miss out on it!) which is a 3D simulation of a space flight - driven by C-3PO so a lot of mishaps along ...

... a bit we made a dash for "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" exhibit. We went on the ride which cleverly superimposed Nemo & Friends in a 3D way with actual live (and large!) fish tanks. We then walked through the aquarium portion of the exhibit -- several huge fish tanks (maybe 20 or more feet deep) with various rays, sharks, sea turtles, and all kinds of fish, large and small. They also had a separate tank with two manatees (rescued after being hit by boats) - ...
