Ellen had a mug of chowder and I had a bowl of seafood stew. Very good and just enough. Darkness had hit the pier so we only did a short walk and headed back to our motel. We piled into a whole lot of unhealthy food in order to get into the American vibe. We only ordered appetisers ...

      ... over our city map.

Harry was written-off so I took a stroll around Quincy Market and Christopher Colombus Park by the harbour, scoping out where we would, later that night, dine like kings.

My number one mission for the day was to choose the location for our big seafood blowout. Now at Legal Seafood’s right on the harbour I was enjoying a grilled wild salmon fillet with seaweed + greens salad while watching Harry tackle a 2-pound lobster stuffed with ...

... so was not alarmed, but for Mandy and Jim it was a first and not a joyous experience. Anyway, I drove us to the City, parked and left Kevin recovering in the sunshine while the three of us explored some more. When he felt up to it, we continued the City bus tour from yesterday this time crossing the River to Cambridge – Harvard is in this area. Our Driver was a very knowledgeable and capable Polish guy – his competency was much appreciated as ...
