Cruise ships visiting Freeport use nearby Lucaya to stage daytime excursions – snorkeling, parasailing, shopping, beaches, etc. There is a beautiful hotel there and plenty of restaurants.       ... Park is $3 per person. The trail is an easy hike with simple trails to follow. There are many beautiful butterflies in the field- big and small. Our first cave was at Lucayan Cavern. This cavern was a burial mound for several Lucayan Indians that were buried under a rock in 6 feet of fresh water. Haunted much? Probably so we quickly left this cave.

      ... today we will sail to Treasure Cay. It's sunny and light SSE winds are predicted. The water temp is 85 and we are all motoring. It's only 29 miles today.
