... the Pacific. We camped for 2 nights near the Rogue...took walks on several beaches, built lean-tos with driftwood, feasted on local beef steaks and fresh corn roasted over our campfire. A day to slow down and take in where I am.

This is a really funny little hot springs. It is the only naturally occurring geyser in Oregon and the pool is fantastic.

It is amazing that it was built in 1925 and has bankrupted all that either built it, developed it or ran it and now Jimmy and Pixie want to sell.

I think the long straights are over as this state is beautiful in a more conventional way than the raw beauty of the hot states.


An amazing transformation. Riding through the end of the Great Basin and in to south east Oregon.

... tell… Anyway, we had a nice tour of the ranch and then drove back to town. We finally found the Mexican food we had been craving---which was pretty good if you didn’t look in the kitchen. While Isobel was sleeping, I was treated to the most amazing star show of our entire trip.
