        ... it was definitely desert from there so I stocked up on food and had over 7 litres of water when I rode out at 6:30 am with a plan of doing the miles before it got too hot. At Riley, I refilled my bottles and turned left onto route 395. I arrived at Wagontyre near midday. As I neared some buildings I could see it was a motel and gas station with a few other huts.
