I topped up my tank and then had a bowl of chili, all stalling tactics to let it warm up some more. Finally I left the town around 1300h, and rode for about 15 minutes only to find it wasn't quite enough, I stopped at an abandoned garage to put on another shirt, that finally did the trick!

Woke up cranky today. My own fault though; I drank a bottle of Coca-Cola about an hour before going to bed and then couldn't get to sleep for nearly another two hours. Sorry, Mom. Breakfast helped marginally, and by mid-day I was feeling better. We drove on Highway 15 northbound, going through customs at Coutts, Alberta. That went relatively quickly: where are you from, how long have you been in the US, what's ...

Went to the calgary stampede for the day. Had to catch bus and train from our hotel which Thomas reckons was situated at Devo Park!!!!! It wasn't that bad!! Anyway made it to stampede with only 1 hiccup which wasn't too bad. The thing is huge, it is like a gigantic adelaide show with a few added extras. There are lots of free shows within the show, Thomas and cally saw a guy play this huge earth harp. ...

      ... Mine Launcher etc. etc.

The Air Force gallery was mostly just informative - nowhere near as big as even the Naval one, and the biggest aircraft were 1/72 scale models. A lot on the RCAF in WW2, and the Empire/Commonwealth Air Training Scheme that basically out-trained the Luftwaffe and Japanese pilot-wise in WW2.

Followed that up by a visit to Fort Calgary - the NWMP base that was the effective, formal sort of (there were US Whiskey Traders here before ...

      ... ever go
back I would also like to go to Sea World, Knott’s Berry Farm, and possibly
      Lego Land.

I am glad to be home and see all my animals
and my mom. On a side-note my cat and fish were alive when I got home (thanks
      mom!).

I hope everyone has a wonderful week and
maybe next trip I will write another blog.

As a side note I have attached a few more photos that I do not think I have shared yet.
