Yes, there is a National Historic site by that name (in fact it's a UNESCO site, up there with Lascaux pictographs). I visited there and was impressed first with how the complex fits into the landscape so appropriately. The film set up the story of the site and the exhibits were well thought out. The Rockies are ...
Okotoks, Alberta, Canada visionrider... 30 or something. I can't remember how many games we had that first day, I think it was about 3 or 4. Again we did alright, but not overly great. Assumption is a 2A school, which is graded by the size of the school. 1A schools are smallest, and 4A schools are the largest, meaning that their sports teams are supposed to be better etc. So for a 2A school playing in a 4A tournament we did pretty good though ...
Okotoks, Alberta, Canada xx.rachel... to watch), but it's such a great event I put on my cowgirl hat and cheered along! It's looks amazingly dangerous, but contrarily there's a real family atmosphere, with wives and children of the contestants introduced and coming up to the podium with the winners too. Just as we exited the rodeo, the heavens opened and it started to hail! We took refuge in the nearest tent until the rain subsided somewhat ...
Calgary, Alberta, Canada meganwadeyAfter the troubles I faced in Chicago, Hans-Peter and Alison granted me asile at their home in Calgary which was very nice and which I appreciate a lot. I could even use their car to get around. I met Hans-Peter and Alison when I worked in Milford. Hans-Peter grew up in Switzerland close to where I'm living today and Alison is from Calgary. I wanted to visit them on this trip anyway, just not so early so I'm greatful for their flexibility and hospitality.

This was a great time of visiting with people we met along our fall tour and our families. I am writing this update on Saturday, November 24th, and our team is flying out to the Philippines ...
Okotoks, Alberta, Canada trentrollingsSo ... soon after returning to Calgary, it was time to reveal the truth about the fake wedding. Back before we executed the joke, we thought this could be an entertaining evening. But we soon realized that most people were going to be quite upset once they found out the truth. The plan was to gather everybody at dinner, quickly tell them the truth, and then run away before getting killed. Originally, the reveal was to be done as ...

Okotoks, Alberta, Canada trentrollings... for approximately 5 months. Right now, it is looking like I will be going to Russia, UK, and possibly Germany, but I will not know for sure until I am on team. While overseas we will be putting on programs in churches, schools, neighborhoods, etc. with music, drama, puppetry, creative teaching, chalk art, etc. After our time overseas, we will be taking a break before doing a North ...
Okotoks, Alberta, Canada trentrollings... granted a pardon ... but just as I was walking out of the prison gates towards customs, with my ticket in hand .... a cold hand snatched me back into my prison cell. So what did I do? I shoved Tam to the ground, yelled "Screw you!!!", and ran for it. It was like a scene from "The Grinch" ... I almost made it through to customs, when Tam started sobbing and bawling "I need a hug!!!". Just like the Grinch, I felt my heart grow several times its original size (it ...
