Gorman Falls Hiking Trip
In April 2010, I ran across a magazine that said the Gorman Falls Hike at Colorado Bend State Park is one of the best hikes in Texas. So I finally decided to go check it out.
I got to the park around 11am and hiked the Cedar Chopper Loop to the Old Gorman Road Trail then across Gorman Creek then down to the falls. It was really beautiful.

The Hills have eyes...
... Main Street. That's right... "Catfish Heaven". We have grilled catfish with cajun seasoning. Good home country cooking and staff is friendly. Thumbs up from us. Driving on the main street, we cannot help but notice 'Old German Bakery'... Biergarden. Need we say more...strong German influence.
