... found out that I don’t really care all that much after all.

When we pulled up we saw a van with a trailer as well as another trailer with racks on it. When we looked at the reservoir we saw numerous kayaks in the water. There was a man and a woman in the vicinity along with three dogs. Harley caught a glimpse of the dogs and couldn’t wait to get out of the Jeep.

We let him out and he headed toward the dogs. The woman owned all of ...

A few minutes later a large Stellar’s Jay (AKA pine jay, mountain jay or long-crested jay) landed in a branch near the water. Soon it had flown down onto the rock to take a sip. Our last couple of days here in Show Low have been spent relaxing and seeing the countryside. The babes are too little and Alle too pregnant for anything strenuous, so we've taken advantage of the being outdoors on the back porch, shopping, eating out, and sadly, checking out the situation just down the road with the San Juan fire. Alle and Eric spoke with some people up in the area and were told the wind ...

... temps at about 84 degrees and a nice breeze. Roy may have lost to Eric on the Deer Hunter game last night, but he claims he won the "who can catch the most fish" contest. Two tiny blue gill vs. a big long hunk of lake grass! Lol! An older lady fishing from the other platform had two beautifully sized trout on her lines. Oh well, the day was perfectly lovely and relaxed even if we didn't catch much.
