... Of course, I had to pick the card that said "taking a number 2"! Who thinks of this stuff??

We watched some artistic log carving at one of our favorite places to tourist shop and when Roy brought Aubrey into the shop, she latched onto a little stuffed beagle puppy with what he called a "death grip". There was no choice but to buy it for her and Madi picked out the cutest husky puppy for ...

From Santa Fe, it's a 730 mile ride to my La Quinta home – and nearly twice as far for Ray to ride to his home in Farragut, Tennessee. It'll take me three leisurely days. Ray will probably beat me home. What does that possibly say about me? Be gentle. After a warm hug, we fire up the big bikes and head our separate ways. *** I'm on my own now. Pretty sure I can make it, with the help of some good tunes from playlists I created on my iPod. ...

Much cooler today, in the mid 80's and overcast
It only sprinkled when I was filling up the car.
Salt River Canyon is spectacular but requires driver concentration. I am glad it was a short day.
Tomorrow, I am aiming for Cortez, CO. for the weekend
      Today's lunch was forgetable ...
