    ... don't know what kind) and what I thought were coyotes but ranger said may be wolves. Black bears in area, no problem according to ranger. NOBODY here at the campground and it's just beautiful. Very helpful ranger. book exchange, clean water., nice beach, Jim braved the Wisconsin waters on his floatie.

    Today is Pat's 75th birthday! Gave her a call while we still have good cell service. She sounds so happy and is looking forward to a fun weekend with James and all her kids. Wish we could have made it there for her special day but the timing didn't work this year.... Packed up for a long travel/sightseeing day.     ... about an hour, and I was soaked. But as they say, you can only get so wet, so I rode another hour or so before stopping for breakfast. I soaked the chair and floor around me in the restaurant. It was a relatively short ride to the center from there, and I arrived here at 3pm. So here I sit, having taken over the entire bunkhouse by spreading my belongings all over the place to dry, leaving little room to walk.     ... dinner at “Smokies Restaurant”, the plan was to catch the Wisconsin Skeeters water ski show on Rest Lake. Corey was actually skiing in the show and we definitely weren’t going to miss that!
