... in Temecula is expensive. Tastings run around $15 for six tastes on average, which is pretty steep. The wines were good, and the people were friendly, so it was still a pleasant experience. We took the opportunity of a reasonably early return to Temecula to give Will the chance to spend his birthday money which, together with his life savings (!) was enough to get him an iPod Touch - so thanks to all the grandparents and aunts/uncles who contributed so generously.

... girls wanted to do more shopping and i was interested in getting a marathon watch that does the gps amongst other things. Sarah ended up with a pair of boots that she has been craving to buy and i got the watch that i was after so it was another successful shopping adventure. The suitcase (renamed shoecase) we bought is going to come in very handy.
