My buddy Bob Tischer is currently teaching economics on
contract at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. So while in northern New
England to ski, I thought I’d pay him and his wife Susan a visit. We worked

in northern New England. It doesn’t take all that long to get to Durham from
Killington, which gave me the opportunity to stop somewhere along the way.

We panicked (I more than Laura) and ran up to street level to catch a lift, though trying to find our specific driver in the chaos of Kenmore Square was a challenge. Got in the car with 15 minutes before the train left, and ...

OK, so I struggled to think of a pun for this one. I'm open to suggestions. In case you were unaware, the New Hampshire state motto is 'live free or die', which I think is a pretty nice thought. Only problem is if everyone lives free then they will most likely die in the process from alcohol poisoning or shooting someone or something. I'm generalising.

Anyway, I set off this morning from Boston with the commuters at 6.45am. If you don't know me, then you will ...
