We drove 2 hrs north to North Dakota and took all necessary pictures of Rees in front of the "North Dakota" road-side sign. We enjoyed the Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton, ND. It was quaint with up close views of all the animals. The highlights were bison, ...

It rained and rained with gusty winds all night long. The temperature dropped into the 50s last night and was in the low 60s today. We are camping at Lake Herman ...

If someone asked me to describe the drive along I-90 across Minnesota, I would say simply "corn".  Lots and lots of corn.  Miles of it.  Or maybe windmills.  Miles and miles of wind farms where giant turbines turned in the wind.  Oh, wait!  That's another great word!  "Wind".  Lots and lots of wind.  Not some gentle breeze that cools you, but the kind of steady winds where a small child goes outside to fly a kite and is never seen again. We ...

11am to 6pm Jp was delivering to this couple that just moved here from butlington, Nadine and Ben. The labor was Brian. Brian was 53 years old and very open about being a smoker and a drinker. He was super impressed with Jp...really admired him, said he was "energetic and strong." Ben was very nice and brought me a chair. Nadine brought me inside and made me a sandwich and we chatted. They have twin 8 year old ...
