... Drug and Faith Store'. An impressive mix of things to sell...it seems you either buy drugs and if that doesn't work you pray; or you pray and if that doesn't work you take drugs. The start of our dream!!
... of course had to stop in the shop, where they actually carve the animals there, you could watch them doing this. So we had to buy something, a giraffe which we called Nakuru! We also learnt our first few swahili words! 'Asante sana/Thank you' and of course 'Hakuna Matata/No Worries' as well as 'Sowa/Ok' which Ben used all the time!! We woke up desperate for the loo several times but in between toilet visits managed to sleep in till about 10:30. Lake Naivasha
... and how long a trip should take.
I stayed at a campsite along the shore of Lake Naivasha, which had a lot of resident birds, black and white colubus monkeys, and hippos at night. Fortunately there was an electric fence to keep the hippos from wandering up to your tent.
There is not a lot to do at Lake Naivasha but relax some and take a ride in a boat on the lake, which I did with a couple of people who were staying at the campsite. ...
