So we make it to Nairobi and Philip, our driver, drops us at the National Park entrance, promising to return at a set time. We stand in line at the Safari Walk and notice the Kenyan nationals in front of us are being charged 150 KES, or like $2. It’s $25 for non-residents of Kenya. Funny, I don’t remember us price-gouging our tourists like that in the US. But it’s all over ...

... and watch a tv set. They’re “dorm parents” at the boarding school, Rift Valley Academy (RVA), so they’re attached to a dorm with about 15 junior high boys. It’s a really neat set up. The kids are on break right now, though. They get a one-month break three times a year. Anyway, I got some good video from them of elephants, lion, and leopard. I might play around with iMovie one of these days.
