... a few of the sites. We did catch the changing of the Guard at ten, though. Outside we found a pleasant modern French style coffee shop and had iced coffee and pain au raisin. After a walk around the walls to the back of the Palace there was a quick visit to the temple of the reclining Buddha. The minibus picked us up and took us to Chinatown and a restaurant. We shared a selection of dishes on a revolving table top: egg and prawn rice, noodles, duck, pork, pockets of meat, crispy ...

Full day around Pattaya.

... pastries etc.. As much as one wanted. The hotel was packed with Russians; I saw some with a plateful of American style breakfast, a plate of Thai, plus fruit and croissants. Must be a cultural thing. Eat while you can. And the size of them!! At 9.45 Daniel and Eduardo arrived from the airport in our minibus. ... the acid style circus tent was, it wasn't there. It seem to have completely dissapeared. The lights had been clearly turned off which meant we just couldnt find it - nightmare. Luckily it had been an intersting walk so wasn't too much bother, just a shame we had to walk all the way back now!

For the most part of Pattaya we were really just sun worshiping, Gent had wanted to go to this Tiger Zoo but once I read the reviews on trip advisor which were terrible we decided ...

I had a seat right in the middle, and only one bloke in front of me, who kept bobbing about trying to use the camera on his phone, he should have bought a decent camera instead, what photos he took were pretty rubbish

... and very similar to Phuket where we had been before...definitely tacky and very sleazy. Every building is covered in bright lights advertising various girl bars / shows and the streets are full of Thai girls (and Thai men) wearing heavy make up and very skimpy clothing, trying to drag you into their bars.
