Lovely room but unfortunately on a smoking floor.
We bolted to the conference check in and arrived with 5 mins to spare before closing. A lot of sweet talking by our cousin Manal enabled Rami to check in both his wife and cousin as family members. Manal is a Family Doctor in California and was very keen to view the exhibit hall.

... spent a few hours putting things away and going through all the new manuals and information that came with the camper. A quick run down the hill to the marina store for ice and ice cream, and then back up the hill to the campground. While at the marina, we saw the Mojave County Medical Examiner's van in the marina parking lot, and found out later that some skeletal remains (possibly of a hiker missing since February) had been found by kayakers near the edge of Lake ...

    Leaving Las Vegas

After spending the whole trip in hostels and cheap motels we treated ourselves to a 4 star hotel using mid-week rates and special offers. During check-in I applied the $20 bill sandwich to get us a complementary room upgrade to a panoramic corner suite. ...
