... out, got about 4 hours sleep. The flight from KL to Hat Yai (Thailand) was about 45 mins so that’s how long I slept for.

I was met at the airport by Ram the project manager and Chris a volunteer who arrived the day before. ... Buntar. Without his stepmother’s (ibu angkat) knowledge, he sneaked out from her house in KL to visit his biological mother in this Raya month.


He said his stepmother was a control freak. She always prevents him from visiting his mother at the village and even forbade him to get married.

I did not expect the conversation to head towards that heavy direction. The more questions I asked the more heart-throbbing answers I got from him.
