... we just parked and got out of the car and listened to the bugling for a good hour. It's so funny, such a big animal and he sounds like a squealing pig. I recorded it on my phone. At one point we drove down to the end of the road and there was an outhouse and Art got out to use the bathroom (it was dark by this point) and he heard a noise that startled him. At this point in our trip we have traveled about 3,250 miles, but are only 800 miles from our starting point! Apparently we did not take the most efficient route, but it was definitely the most adventurous one. Now we are moving on to Denver, and then we will follow I-70 directly to Pennsylvania for the upcoming wedding!
