      T-minus 5 days

A travel blog entry by jordanavery on Jan 30, 2015

So 5 days until the long drive out west, and I'm finally getting excited about it. Not that I wasn't before, it's just that now that it's almost here, the excitement level is rising. I'm at home for the last time for a while and then I'll head back to Taylor for a last few days of hanging with the guys from my wing (floor of my dorm) (now being referred to as 3C from now on). I'm pumped to watch the Super Bowl and hang all day Monday and Tuesday. We (Max, Ryan, and I) will ...

... the Sunny Days Laundromat in Portage IN, not far from where we were. It was great - clean and roomy, and the lady who worked there was very helpful. And it had free wi-fi. We got the laundry done and headed for Chicago. (Oh yeah, before we did the laundry Kelly had a hankering for White Castle, so we grabbed a few burgers. I give White Castle the over packaging award - everything was in small boxes plus they gave us paper plates...don't really need all that!.)

It was prom weekend. Went up to New Buffalo to stay at a friends cottage, and soon found out we had to camp outside! Not your typical prom weekend, but still fun nonetheless. Beach, sun and fun. This was also the first time I had had Redamaks Burgers. All i can say about these burgers is one word; Delicious. ...
