... Any time your on the road you have to look out for those hazards. Especially if your lower to the ground like we are. Anyway it turned out to be a very wet day and nice ride.

We spent our second day heading on down to Illinois. We stopped in Hobart, IN to ride another Rails to Trails called Prairie Duneland Trail. We rode 15 miles through lush, green lands and had lunch at a cute place called Tate's.

booths so we thought it might be free after a certain time or
something. Anyway, it turns out we were meant to pay somewhere and

Milwaukee and Chicago, through Chicago and into Indiana we paid 6
tolls totally almost $25. I hope this isn't indicative of the rest of
the trip, that's gonna add up!

I have to work Saturday, so I will be tossing stuff at my suitcase all week and will hopefully have time on Sunday to actually pack and see if it all fits and weighs less than 50#!!

Tuesday, 10/2, around noon we will be on the road to Chicago O'Hare.

... so magnificently mysterious and terrifying about it all at the same time; how it is powerful beyond comprehension; how it is full of so many forms of life, we’ll likely never know how many; how there is this perfect circle of life happening in it at all times; how, with it’s vastness, it reminds me of the infinite places there are to travel, and infinite potentials of things to do in life; how I have absolutely no idea ...
