Sat downstairs watching the morning light arrive. Still dark at 7 am but it was finally light at 8. not sure I would be able to cope with that. but next week when daylight saving finishes, it will change for the people living here. No rush this morning for breakfast. Made a few sandwiches and packed the little cooler for a day out.

... was an area that was obviously where the tourists went to take buggy rides and browse the shops. It reminded me of Montville on a weekend but in American Amish country. It was interesting to see the horses and buggies going along the road shoulder and cars on the road. We saw so many horses and buggies in a small area in such a short period of time and it was not put on for the tourists. That was just how I wanted to see their community.
- 4 and a half hours later and we can almost taste our destination.

Drove on through Toledo, and decided to stop for the evening in the small town of Wauseon. Stayed at a Best Western with an unfriendly front desk clerk and internet that did not work well. So I became even more behind in my blog. We ate fast food (me-Arby's, Kelly-KFC) and called it a night.

It was prom weekend. Went up to New Buffalo to stay at a friends cottage, and soon found out we had to camp outside! Not your typical prom weekend, but still fun nonetheless. Beach, sun and fun.
