Posting the cheque this morning and sending off the passport application were literally breathtaking but filled me with that sense of "I am on the rollercoaster now!" Since then I feel extremely energised which is just what I needed during these dark, cold winter days and nights.
Suddenly, I find myself making new lists, getting out old note ...

... on and I had one of those surreal moment were you are not sure where you are in the world and what you are doing there..............
Lost the plot in a Indian, listening to a rapper singing..........I want to F*&$ you tonight.......and watching the staff play guess Will's age!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toon Toon Toon
... was electric, every-one was pumped up and singing, yelling at the ref. Was a great game even though we lost 3 - 2 and I think I got hyperthermia...........note to self next time wear every item of clothing I own not just half.
The next morning we drove out to Heeding on the wall, which is a beautiful little town only 20 minutes from central Newcastle.

The very beginning
... at school of stuff that I can send to Madhava which I'm hoping to send in January; but I'll keep you updated and what stuff I've collected and how that's going as it goes on!
Right now, I need to sort out my visa and think about flights. I also need to research the area and create an itinerary. Not to mention sort out vaccines and phones and all sorts of communications!
So, off I go to try and figure out this visa nonsense!

The cold north
Got to NC today, as soon as I stepped out of the station it was freezing. About 8 degrees but it felt like -80. Ridiculous. By far the coldest day since I got here. Not a pleasant chill, but more like a "i can't breath im dying" cold.
Walked around the city to see some sights (and get circulation back). A lot of people here are out of shape. Particularly noticeable after coming from Madrid. It's no surprise Britain is giving the US a close race ...
