      ... and then took the train there where we then waited for a shuttle to pick us up. At 3, a guy from Stoke Travel came and said he wouldn't have known if another guy there hadn't called for us. We drove up the hill to the campsite and realized that Zarautz was a beach town and we had been about 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. Unlike the other varieties which are grown as most varieties of grapes, the grapes for this txakoli are grown according to the treille or trellis system (called parra in Basque).       ... coast of Spain, popular with surfers. We stayed at a tourist apartment just out of town, but with everything still within 30mins walk. This region has very proud Basque traditions and prides themselves on their local produce so we made sure to try pronouncing the Basque words correctly, and tried the local offerings.

      ... to where I have taken my last photo, there is no sign of them... I don't usually cry over spilt milk, but this loss really annoys me for the next couple of hours on a number of fronts.
