... Western, which is where our tour ended. Shelly and I didn't have anywhere booked for the next 2 nights but everyone that had booked in said we could crash with them to save some cash so we crashed with the remaining few for the next 2 nights. The evening we got back we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner before heading back and crashing. The next day most people were either heading to Disneyland or Universal Studios for the day, but having already been to Universal and not really ...
Anaheim, California, United States edwardallin... surfer dude. I tried to jump the waves but they are so strong I ended up doing a bit of body boarding so decided to go back to the sunlounger for fear of really embarassing myself.
In the afternoon we drove up to see Hollywood and all it has to offer. We saw the 'HOLLYWOOD' sign up close. Drove up Mullholland Drive and had a panoramic view of the whole city which was amazing. We then drove back ...
... the little amphitheter where the Pageant of the Masters takes place, there is also the Sawdust Festival which is a display of art for sale by local artists. There is jewelry, paintings, sculptures, and even a Junior Art Exhibit. Tickets to this event go fast (it lasts, I dunno, a week or two total). And you can also volunteer to be in the Pageant, but you must do so a year in advance.
Laguna Beach, California, United States kitkatgo... of lines. It is just impossible to imagine what this place must be like in the peak of summer. The Jungle Cruise was a nice way to start the day. Zac was into it from the outset. And like all other rides in this place, it is just done to perfection and it makes other "cruises" merely pale imitations. Too much to take in for one cruise. Very entertaining. And after that start to the day, we figured that Zac was ready to take on anything ...
Anaheim, California, United States cdcassWe spent the day at DisneyLand in Anaheim. Favorite rides were Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, and Splash Mountain, which we did twice. Fast passes worked great, but the lines were so big by 2pm we left. And the kids fell fast asleep.

Yikes! I can't believe it is already 10 December. I think things are coming together with the boat and we will actually leave on time. However, by looking at the boat now, you would never know it. For those of you that were unable to make it to the awesome surprise boatwarming party Candice and Brian threw for wmd (or those who did make it, but were unable to find us because wmd couldn't move off the mooring!) I am sad to say that you missed the awesome sight of seeing my ...

Good night, and good luck; against the commies, of course; they're trying to disrupt Bush's vacations and that's just unacceptable, because if he can't relax he can't possibly run the country... - End of transmission -
La Canada, California, United States bobbytelcoAfter four years at the University of Southern California (USC), I worked my last day on Friday, February 3, 2006. I am now officially retired and, unofficially, the full-time world trip planner and seller of everything we own. Jacob still has two months of work before he ...
Los Angeles, California, United States dorisjacobWe ended up driving to L.A. in one go from Prismo Beach after an aborted attempt to find Tourist Information. To early to check in so Paul decided we would pop to the beach .... L.A. is so huge we completely lost our bearings and ended up going the wrong way. Maps are not to scale and what Paul thought may be the beach was an annoying mirage. The L.A. smog blends well to hide everything you want to see and becomes one with the sky. It ...
