Decided to clump together the last few days as not really got much to tell woke up in hospital after a terrible nights sleep and the doctor came around and said that I could go home but had to wait until I had been in there for 24 hours so Ian came and got me and we got a taxi back to the room which cost 74 pounds the ripping off monster. But hoping can keep the reciepts and claim it back when we speak to ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... me and what where the acoustics like. He told me to come up and see him so I was on my way up when I thought it would be funny to pretend I was a gladiator on a horse and started trotting into the arena next minute my leg went something pulled in my calf I know now that it was only a pulled muscle but I was in agony and Ian was laughing thinking my horse had gone lame.

I tried to hobble over to some ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelleAs we said its getting colder now so we decided not to do much today as we both wanted to relax anyway after the hectic few weeks that we have had in Turkey greece and italy. So we just went for a walk in the harbour and had a look around its another pretty little harbour town with some cafes but its still really different from Italy. We found a supermarket and as we wanted ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelle... follow suit and to catch up with me, just as we approached the busy beach.

After an afternoon at the beach, we returned to the yacht and sailed into the Harbor at Rovinj. We moored stern to at the mouth of the northern marina and took the short walk around the harbor to the old town out on an oval peninsula with a church on top. We found a place to eat dinner and then returned to the yacht for the night.
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia mylifesjourneyGot up really early to take the girls to the airport so sad that Danielle is going but not got long on the trip to go now so waved her off and then we had to wait an hour to get a train to Florence then connect on a train to go to Trieste. As we said we are not going to Venice as we could not find anywhere to stay that was within budget that was not absolutly miles away from actual Venice so decided like Rome we can do that ...
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia traceybelleI was awakened during the night, not to the chimes of the bells, but rather by the boom of an intense thunderstorm and the banging of my shutters as the wind whipped into my room. As I went to fasten them shut, it was a pretty awesome sight (whether it was a dream or actually occurred, I will never know), as I saw a bolt of lightning crash down from the sky immediately to the right of the bell tower looking over the square. Whether it was a dream or ...
Piran, Slovenia forbes.thompson... willing to tell me when our stop was. Wed been expecting a bus station. Porteroce is a big boring city chock ful o' casinos, but turns out the big bus stop is exactlz that, a wide dustz spot in the road near the water. So from there to Rovinj.

Rovinj is like Vernazza, another tumbling down the hill redroofed incrediblz beautiful festooned with laundry city. We stayed at the Hostel Montalbano, tucked waaay inside the old city walls. Its ...
Piran, Rovinj, Volosko, Split, Slovenia commuter... they weren't very friendly for some reason, maybe they though a British invasion was finally on its way! The site had its own private beach, what you don't get in Croatia are sandy beaches, but for our money a few rocks on the shore and hundreds of km's of secluded coves, with ************e around more than makes up for it. Who honestly likes sand in every nook and cranny anyway! A friend commented on how he would charter our progress by the ...
Porec, Istria, Croatia piholland... in America was in Orlando. We spent the rest of our time trying to convince him that Orlando is not indicative of the US.

Back on the ship, Tyler was taking advantage of the sports deck that is dropped down anytime the ship is anchored. One can waterski, sail, kayak or just swim.

We said our goodbyes and went back to the ship. Cocktails at 7, followed by dinner and dancing. Another great day!
Rovinj, Istria, Croatia premiertravel... street and then thru an alleyway and a little further ahead... Scratching his head, he began feeling around doorways and looking up at them in search of a clue. We had no idea what he was up to! Then, there it was, a small 'Sobe' sign and a small buzzer to ring. A little 'grandma' opened the door and we were set! (The room ended up being right next door to the 6th century Euphrasian Basilica and in the morning, it's big brass bells woke us up!) The ...
