... ship for lunch. I have to say that I am really impressed with the level of service on the ship (the Quest) thus far. The staff is very accommodating but not overbearing. It's all the little things they do that make the difference. We spend the rest of day reading, napping and laying by the pool. Highlights that come to mind are Jamie's pants being blown off the line during the night. Then in the morning heading out to the market to buy a fishing rod to reel them back in and succeeding!

... bit of English. Eventually he called me over and said "ah boat people", smiled at his joke, scribbled in my passport and said we could go.... so we did. The Bulgarian side was actually pretty swift but I was glad we had read that we had to buy a road tax sticker because 20km down the road we were stopped by the police for a "vignette" check. A quick look at the sticker and passport and off we went.
Today the Christmas box team took the highway East 250 miles to Burgas to begin our distributions. On the way, we stopped to see our old friend Marianna Dimitrova, who is an ex-pupil of Lipnitsa Orphanage/School. The Trussell Trust worked together with Mr Petkov, Lipnitsa's headteacher, to help Marianna escape an abusive family situation. It's really good to see her with a family of her own now and working in her village ...
