    ... search of work. We also observe
    how often the Bulgarian flag flies proudly alongside that of the EU. We conclude
    they are happy to be part of our community! And with such useful projects as
    the one for technical checking of vehicles, who can blame them? ( See photo). We spot a solitary wind turbine, inactive of course, and wonder whether it is also the product of an EU subsidy….

    ... they managed to get in a fight during a gig

    Watching my friend get hosed down to move him on from his drunken slumber

    And taking my friends on a 1 hour detour one day to try and find a pizza place i swore and hyped up was the best i had ever tried the night before, only to realise that when tasting it during the day the alcohol had contributed greatly to my opinion of the pizza...it turned out to be one of the worst we had all ever eaten!

    ... went through a national park which was a huge oak forest, very peaceful. 90min later, sticking carefully to the speed limits, we hear there are sneaky police round every corner waiting to fine you for speeding and we witnessed the man who overtook us earlier being stopped, we arrived in the old town of Sozopol and are now in our modern hotel with, as you can see, a blue sea view; very nice to.     ... we gave out presents. Next up was a protected home for adults with severe mental health problems. The residents were really happy to receive their boxes and the team got a lot of hugs and smiles while we were there. Our last visit was to a senior citizen's home.     ... and vases. The best room was downstairs, which had icons. The icons were in the “Nessebur” style, which was not really explained, but appears to center around the cult of the Virgin Mary. Some were very beautiful – to our eyes, they do not vary much from time period to time period, although we did feel that they varied in quality.
