I plan to stay in Marmaris until Saturday, then go to Fethiye to look at another boat. I have no idea how long I will stay here in Turkey; it depends on several things. Here are just a few pix that I took while having lunch today at the marina. Love and best wishes to all.

Up through the pine and cypress forests and past some of the few remaining ancient remnants- we saw the columns from the Temple of Apollo. Continued on to Mt. Philerimos whose plateau is 1000feet above sea level. Stunning, uninterrupted views along the coastline. We poured into the sports bar back on board for the all blacks v England game. Only to find there is no rugby channel. We are currently watching Italian serie B, EPL and Bundesliga all at once. Streamed the radio broadcast, much to the disgust of the German soccer fans. And NZ meted out bitter revenge in the ******** ...

We walked back to the ship and saw the Queen Elizabeth docked next to our which held several thousand people and dwarfed our cruise ship. I don't think a bigger ship would be any better and personally I prefer exploring new places than staying on the ship and ours had good food and plenty to do.
