    ... cleaners that collect smaller waste. There are girls looking for customers .... but most of the women are just dancing and drinking a lot .... and they stay especially among themselves, snubbing men, locals and tourists.     Exactly a year ago this past Thursday we hugged and waved goodbye at the airport and started the most epic year. We've been to more than 60 cities in 13 different countries and we’re still going!

    ... before dinner. Dinner at Black Ginger (part of Indigo Pearl) was spectacular. I don't think any of us have ever been to such an amazing restaurant. You get there on a barge and then it is all set up like a Thai market. We walked around and chose our food accompanied by as much wine as we wanted. Stunning. All in all a huge day that was memorable and so much fun. No idea how I'm going to top this for her ...

    ... a good portion of more reading so Norma could finish her book and take advantage of the excellent book shops in town again. I also took advantage of a bakery and devoured a slice of truffle cake (Norma gets sticky rice, I get chocolate cake; fair is fair). With a few hours of daylight left and fearing that the Sticky Rice and Mango lady would bugger off early again, we got Norma some of her favourite treat.
