... activity that was nowhere to be found on my list, but Deepti's face lit up immediately.
We paid 800 Baht (~$25 USD) to get a little too up close and personal with a king cobra and a massive python! I would have been content to pay someone that much and more in exchange for a guarantee that I wouldn't encounter these creatures, but Mimi assured me that we would be a good distance from the stars of the show. When we arrive, there is a family with very ...
... my roommates canoe, each carrying one other person, happened to go under this tree. Not thinking of it we look over and notice that my roommate and her canoe buddy were practically standing up screaming. Not knowing why my canoe buddy looked back in our boat and noticed that not 1, not 2, but about 12 spiders (bout the size of wolf spiders) WERE JUMPING around in the back of our canoe. We started freaking out and screaming as was the other canoe, but luckily our canoe guide just ...
Phuket, Thailand hurleychick86... leg with my left low kick. I felt good. The rest of the first round was a battle for me...I had made the mistake of getting emotional..and as it was later pointed out to me afterwards by my friend Nicola..I wasn't breathing properly..and that lead to me getting very fatigued. I can easily go 5 rounds ******* the pads at the gym..but here I was getting tired already from the furious pace in the first round..My goal was to come out relaxed with good technique..but ...
Phuket, Thailand lannyc... of the elephants take down a tree and start eating it! We went through a steep, muddy area by a river which was very scary. Our elephant was very cautious and slow to go down the hill, trying not to stumble much, while we were tightly holding onto each other and trying to photograph and enjoy the moment! (Watch our attached video - above) Towards the end, our elephant driver/guide jumped off ...

... over Milli's head, before she realised and came running up to the bar where I was sitting. Pretty funny, we watched it do loops for about an hour before it got bored and flew off. We could hear the monkeys before we could see them, screeching *******s. Milli's not a fan of them either, and I think one ********** in a tree above her head, it landed on her hair. It was too funny, but then I felt something wet slide down the back of my head as well... we ...
Ton Sai, Thailand shanemilli... for somewhere to eat. The Indian was way over priced so we skimped out and got pizza. After dinner we walked around a bit more. We played some connect four while we people watched at a small restaurant. We decided we were ready to call it a night, but picked up a banana pancake on the way back to the resort. I think we'll hit up some of the Thai food we saw tomorrow. We might rent a bike tomorrow too, explore a bit. Ciao for now! Zoë
Ao Nang, Thailand jesseandzoe... of hectic Bangkok and breath the clean ocean air. I am starting to feel so much better, all my stresses are flowing away. I can now start to really relax and chill. I can now say that my holiday has really started. The memory of the fire seem very distant now.
I was really happy that I celebrated my birthday in Phuket, in fact I was on the beach for most of the day just chilling

I signed up for a full day of rock climbing with a guide service, complete with lunch included at a local restaurant for 900 baht ($27 US). We spent the whole day climbing fairly simple routes, had lunch at an amazing little restaurant, and the guide even gave me my first lead climbing lesson. Great day. One of my favorite activities was sitting at a ...
