Each day floats past in a timeless haze of warm breezes, thick Normandie butter, local wine, and anti-gout medicines. Our temporary home sits on the river, where we frolick in the clear refreshing waters below our balcony, with just the odd dead fish floating past, and our biggest decision is which wine to have with dinner, or who's going to get the fresh bread.

Just a few words about today, we had the typical lazy Sunday. Up not too early and a nice breakfast croissants fresh from the bakery on site. A bit of a sort out and down the pool for 1030hrs, unbroken sunshine for the next couple of hours meant we were in and out of the pool cooling off.
