    ... what is left will be preserved. However, there are signs to warn you not to visit on windy or wet days as great lumps of rock simply drop off and some are huge. There is a very large church at the base of the elevated castle and the inside does not match the out and is quite beautiful, we assume most of this splendour was paid for out of the tolls over the centuries.     Phil took Tess for an early morning walk only to find market stalls all the way alongside the canal where we enjoyed our walk in the sunshine yesterday when we were in town and there were about 50 transit vans but he only brought back bread though. Last night was quieter, we could only hear the lions a couple of times and this morning they're packing up to leave. The camels, lamas and horses are at the side of the road grazing (no lions). ...

    Today we went for a 30km bike ride. It took us 2hrs. After that we had lunch and headed to Valras Plage.

    The water was so cold but the sand was so hot. Then when we were at the Valras Plage we headed out to the rocks on the sandbar. Even though there was a big sign that said DANGER everyone still went out.

    ... fascinating conversation with our new "next-door neighbours" from France and I had to give my awful French a gallop....... Ok, can laugh...... But, we managed to have a reasonably intelligent and meaningful conversation for 15 minutes , and they claimed to have understood it.... Anyway, as I said, it was an interesting evening, and we really enjoyed it... I wonder what the new day brings................. Cheers See Fondering Villburys..... Bon Soirée Mes ...

    ... was a couple of kms away, hundreds of tiny baches/cribs on concrete structures built I would assume in the 60's to the 70's with Asbestos roofs Yuk!.
    The beach was packed and there was even a few topless (not a pretty sight!!)
    Families were having fun, jetski's etc.
    Off with our gear and on with the togs with a towel around us as hard to find somewhere to change. Found a space among the masses then took the ...
