When we got home we played soccer, watched the team time trial on the Tour de France and then decided to play cards. While we were playing cards I got thirsty so went to the kitchen to get a drink and then a bird flew into the corner of the kitchen and fell. Mum said it ...

When we got home we had to catch up with our blogs. For tea we had corn fritters and salad.

the nearby village of Trebe. Picked up a brass statue of a dog on a marble base, signed for 20 euro. An absolute bargain. Even the haggling went smoothly as all I had to do was hesitate and they brough the price down.

From there it was to the old ...

... and mourvédre. A quick visit to the 10th century chapel and we're off to the next vineyard. We arrive the back way thorugh narrow funny little streets to the delightful Hegarty Chamans venyard. Sir John Hegarty owns the vineyard. Even more delightful is Samuel the winemaker. I had actually met him on Saturday night at Olly's bar. Handsome, charming and very French and speaks magnificent English, He is very accommodating showing us through ...
