      ... 3 locks. The first "Ecluse" was at Pechlaurier where we encountered a hard case, female lockmaster. There wasn't anything we could do right in negotiating the lock. Boy, this lady got out of bed on the wrong side this morning!!!. The other 2 lockmasters were terrific people and we traversed their locks easily. At the lock of the battle axe....well, a different story.
