... we drove back to the hotel and parked up and went and had a shower to warm up and try and get out clothes dry. We walked back to town to grab some lunch, meanwhile the thunderstorm was still going strong. The storm here is nearly better than the one we had in Hawaii, the thunder is seriously so loud and fork lightening! Lunch was tasty - 2 x 500ml beers, a large pizza and spaghetti, cost us less than $30 Aussie - we love Croatia ...

As we reach Pula we decide to go straight into the old part of the town to see the Arena. This is like the Colosseum in Rome. As we get near the traffic builds up and gets a bit chaotic but eventually we find a park and then just have to find how to get back to the Arena. We stop for a coffee on the way and as ...

This morning we backtracked a little to go to Krka National Park. We only have a short time so will only see a small section of the park. Unfortunately we wont see the Roman Amphitheatre or Monastery, but that will have to wait till next time. We are heading to Roski Slap (waterfall).as we turn off the main highway we start to follow narrow country roads, squeezing through streets with houses right on the road, sharp corners ...
