a mosque from the Ottoman period. It was interesting to go inside.
It is used for worship on Fridays but is basically a museum for
visitors on other days. The Turkish government has apparently
provided much of the furnishings.
After 8pm we took an evening stroll
and came across a stage with a Klezmer band. I suppose this was
associated with the wine festival. An 8 piece band with a violin and
piano accordion providing the leads.
