up to the gate started the alarm bells ringing in this suspicious old barstards head.

I leapt out of the camper and with flailing arms and my kindergarten French indicated the direction of the office so that they understood that I knew they were up to no good. After leaving the Piedmont region of Italy, and before heading back to Geneva for the airport, we made a quick two-day stop in the beautiful French alpine town of Chamonix. Arriving here on Thursday in the driving rain, we kept hoping for a break in the weather so that we could see the fabulous alps, including the Mt. Blanc, the highest peak in Europe.

It was such a great week and we were so happy to have them over and show them ...

my last one. I’m now in a hotel in Megeve, a fairly upmarket village
particularly in the ski season about 30 kms from Chamonix. It is also only an
hour’s drive from Geneva which makes the return of my rental car on Sunday
prior to joining my flight home that much easier.

      As all the
      local ...

      ... cigarette very quickly.

      Oops.

That stuff is strong and it blew my head off. Not wanting to alarm Rene who had warned me not to go too hard (he doesn't touch the stuff himself) I suggested we step back outside and go for a walk. Suffice it to say the train ride home was interesting.

I completely muzzered the train from Noordwijk to Bremen and ended up making up my own itinerary up as I went. I had a ticket on my phone that ...
