... the rocks and they felt fuzzy and soft, like velvet. Once the tide comes back in, all this will be submerged under the ocean again and the cliffs only visible from a distance or from the water on a boat. ... We're on the second floor with a huge balcony that overlooks an Italian style garden with fountain and lots of cypress trees and other Mediterranean foliage. The whole complex is in the Italian style with soft gold, stuccoed buildings. There are two pools, one adult, one child, and a nice restaurant in the complex. We're very happy with it. ... gave it another day at Lagos, hoping that the wind would vanish again, but ended up deciding that two nights was more than enough and that we'd prefer to move on again. Further east, it's supposed to be much less windy and a lot more pleasant.

... the coast, which was full of people along random secluded and hidden beaches enjoying the mid afternoon heat. The sands along the waters were wonderful and even though the blue water didn’t yield too much to see snorkeling it didn’t stop hundreds of people scattering the reefs looking for themselves.
