12/2/15 So we arrived at Airlie beach at 07.00am and had to check onto our Whitsundays boat at 08.30am! Bit of a rush but we boarded The Hammer right on time! we then had a beautiful sail to Whitehaven beach. The pictures do not do it justice at all. And also the harbour from which many a sailing boat sets off to the Whitsunday Islands! I'd already had a three-day sailing tour booked for me by Wicked Travel in Sydney and headed over to the marina for 2pm to meet the Pride of Airlie ...

      spent the night with them.

The next day it was pouring with rain and we were relieved that we weren't leaving for our boat trip until thenext day...and could stay in bed! Once we got up ...
