    Now this is how you visit the Whitsundays: 3 days aboard a sailboat. Day 1: Famous Whitehave beach; Day 2: Snorkelling Whitsunday Island and Hook Island; Day 3: Kayaking through a submerged mangrove forest. We were fed, entertained and tuckered by 9pm every night. Rocked to sleep, we literally slept like babies.

    First day for Lord Howe Island. Plane took off on time. We have the Pallens, Annie, the Gyes, Gwenda, Lee, Trish, Anne, Vivienne, Sue Ellen, Ian Sinclair and myself. Ian Hutton has been in hospital with bypass surgery and will not attend. He is staying with his son in Coffs Harbour. I was in charge of booking the restaurants. Leanda lei is very nice.     ... We then walked to the Sea Spray art gallery and bought a watercolour painting for 325.00. It is very nice and we went halves in it.. We then followed the road to top shop where we bought harm, cheese and tomato for home made sandwiches when we go to mt Gower on Friday.     ... and the gears aren't good. We will go to Wilsons and get new ones. We went snorkelling on the reef with Peter. The fish and coral are amazing and I had no idea it was that beautiful. We went to three different spots. Coffee and chocolate cake was waiting for us at the end. Sun was out and everything was perfect.
