We arrived in Airlie Beach in the evening and checked in at our hostel before deciding that as it was a Friday night we had to go out to the pub even though we were knackered. We went to a local pub with live music and bumped into 3 girls that we had met in magnetic island and
    spent the night with them.

The next day it was pouring with rain and we were relieved that we weren't leaving for our boat trip until thenext day...and could stay in bed! Once we got up ...

Dinner at the bowling club watching the sunset. Bed by 9pm and slept like a ...

I'm going to church at 9.30 and Ian and the gang are ...

Woke to a lovely sunny day and looking forward to an around the island boat trip this afternoon. After a nice breakfast on the verandah- fruit, meusli, bacon and egg burritos we collected a picnic lunch of chicken salad and walked 1.5 km along beach path to the village. Had coffee at The Anchorage and then watched the LH Trader unload at the wharf. ...

    Whitsundays 17/10

After a surprisingly good sleep we were woken early as the ship's engines kicked in at around 6am to take us on to our next destination. As we chatted to some of our crew we found out that in the night had been some antics with a nearby neighbouring boat. Some people from our boat had gone over in the mini motorboat and moved around some of the other boats stuff, including filling their sails with cornflakes so that they would shower everyone ...
