... every other alarm goes off at random. With four different melodies. People don't bother about the noise. In fact they are glad they hear the thing, because it prooves it works. The man at the desk is overly friendly even after I complained about the ventilation in first instance. Maybe he will give me a better room tomorrow. For Les' collection of showerheads I have another one, seen in many hotels now: none at ...

... than the reputation of a country. I have experienced it is always different from what you think and it may be all of it at the same time. My Picaleña experience is a nice example of that. Today I started my day out early by going down to the restaurant at 7 AM. I wanted to write my blog and get a cup of coffee. It was very nice and peaceful. We took pictures at a safe distance and used the zoom button on our cameras. Later in the day we looked up the bug and found out it was a tarantula killing wasp. We were so amazed that a little bug could drag a huge spider that far and did it so ...

    Bonding With One Another

Today we started out our day with coffee, hot chocolate for Kevin. Scrambled eggs with corn, papaya, cantaloupe, arrepas, and bread. It was all very good! Services started at 10:30. The Sermonette reminded us that even though we all can't speak the same language we are connected through God's Spirit and that we love one another. It was very touching to us. We tried to hold back the tears, but couldn't do it. The children sang today and that was also a wonderful treat! After services, ...
