... for a couple of years and at last have found someone who knew what was wrong. It appears it is an electric joint that is not making a good connection. It only needed the connection swapping over and we are fixed. It took us a couple of days to do this and so we stopped at a private campsite just outside the town.

We arrived at what was to be our first tendered port but so late in the day that the Chilean authorities denied us entry into the port so the best we could do was to look at the city from the harbour while we waited for our pilot to organize our sail plan for the Chilean fjords.
