Madeira to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria
... Gran Canaria at sunset we were greeted with a dramatic coast line of cliffs in deep orange with clouds sitting in the peaks. We came into the lovely Puerto Mogan at night and Sunshine Maritime's Mike and Mayla assisted Skipper Paul May put Taboo snugly into her berth. Chillin on the Beach in Africa - Almost...
... little balcony and kitchen. Perfect for a cute girl's night in! The pool at our apartment building was also awesome. I definitely recommend Liberty to anyone travelling to the Canaries on a budget! The only downside was that there was no free internet in the building.

Hols with the Family
... quite amazing how tired you can get doing absolutely nothing!! The weather has been just about perfect, mid 20's, sunny and a cooling breeze. There was a little rain this morning but by 11am it had gone and it wasn't heavy in the first place.
We have also had some great meals with our old favourite 'Canarios 1' at Aquinequin, being the standout meal so far.

Hotel Don Miguel is about to be renovated in April 2012, so we were the guests of it's last New Years celebration and the staff seems to make a point if it. Cannot say enough about the hotel staff.
