... We finished our outing with a stroll along Tokyo Bay. I love the promenades, water vistas and especially the lush green hills. I am exhausted, overwhelmed but most of all excited about this new journey. And we've come along way physically, mentally and emotionally. We are making progress. We have arrived. By request, I am posting food pictures progressively during my time here in Japan. Interestingly enough, they don't eat that much sushi in Okinawa. Its one of the things that is very different about this place compared to mainland Japan. In this post, I will continue adding new pictures of food that I eat here in Japan. ...

... with their siblings (similarities with ours abound) while the parents enjoy the onsen and clean themselves. We watched the monkeys until it became too cold and then back on the bus and back to Nozawa Onsen.

We’d bought some groceries during the day and used the kitchen back at the Lodge to cook up some soba noodles with Pork. Not as good as the local restaurants but the kids enjoyed a night in.
