I did laundry once I got back to K's. While I was waiting I chatted with a Thai girl named Pang. I wanted to go to the onsen in the hotel nearby before it closed at 12:00 am. There were 53 inspection facilities on major roads across the nation to defend Edo, now ...

The weather is nice and by now it is also lunchtime.... we have a simple lunch on an outdoor patio, things are working out just fine! After a while we continue our trip to the pink moss fields. When the GPS says we have reached our destination there are no fields to be found in the immediate area. We drive around a couple of times, nothing there ...

... in cloud all day so I was glad I'd managed a glimpse the day before, also after enquiring about buses back to Tokyo it again appeared it wasn't easy to cut across country to my next destination which was to be the Japan Alps, also found I could purchase a JR East rail pass in Tokyo for my planned journey northwards so the next day it was to be another three and half hours on the bus back to Tokyo, on leaving my hostel to head for the bus station it was ...
