Day 1 of the rugby today. Kenny Searle wasn't feeling up to going, so I buddied up with him for the day.

Didn't have any firm ideas of what to do, so I suggested we head towards the ferry terminal and catch a ferry somewhere. The old streets without the benefit of escalators but equipped with steps are known as ladder streets. This is because the streets are so steep the flights of steps look like ladders. The few we climbed up and down felt pretty steep to us.

So after gliding up and down the hills of Hong Kong we make our way across town to Hong Kong ...

... to run to every train with time to spare, when I finally got through security in Heathrow all I wanted was to sit down! I went shopping in harrods at the terminal for a few last minute souvenirs and found my gate. I boarded the plane and slept the 12 hours to Hong Kong. When I finally arrived in the room I knew I needed to shower and try to eat, I hadn't eaten in about 18 hours because I can't swallow. My contiki cough got pretty bad since Paris to ...
