... a cool furniture shop, a lumber shop, sewing shops, & taxi mechanics. We checked out what we thought was a elaborately decorated government office building, and a sanctuary. There are dogs and stray cats lazing everywhere. There are also random mini shrines decorated with lots of flowers, scarves & food, one with over 2 dozen open bottles of soda with straws in them. ... just based off the junk they were selling and high prices. Once we left that area, further down the canal, were people's homes. Looking at them, it's crazy that people actually live in these shacks lining the canal. Makes me feel so blessed for where I live. We made our way down to the elephants.
