... 24th- Dan and I got to sample another Thai sausage this morning ☺ and we filled up on as much toast as possible. ... a red Chaing Mai taxi up the mountain side to the Buddhist temple named Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (my pronunciation wasn't successful). Our taxi driver waited at the bottom as we climbed up the 357 steps to the temple gates. Although this doesn't sounds much in the humidity of the rainforest it became a proper workout! ... station pee
break, I stretched my legs and my swollen feet. When we pulled out of
the bus station, I realized that the head of the English department,
who was always sitting next to me, was not in his seat. I started to
hear the phone in his fanny pack ringing. I deduced that we must have
left him back at the gas station. He had lingered in the bathroom a
bit too long, but nothing that a U turn couldn't fix.
