The trail dropped today to cross the Kimrong Khola and rose into the forested Modi Khola Valley, which carries the glacial melt from Annapurna Sanctuary. We climbed steeply, often on stairs to the charming agricultural villages of Chhomrong, Sinuwa and Bamboo.

... 36. Seeing as I am a self-confessed loser at bartering, we weren't too sure it was a great deal, but it was cheap enough, fitted well and warm, all of which suited Ann's purpose. My major purchase was a head lamp for $5, not used as most were, but still in plastic impossible to open container. We all stopped at a small vendor near the hotel to buy bottled water. Then the group broke up for a quick nap.

Landed in Bangkok at 7pm, didn't take long to get through immigration an then to the taxi rank outside. Took 5 minutes to get here, in all fairness they aint scared of putting there feet down ha.the hotel is lovely for the price. Travel lodge take note. The room is cool and the bathroom has windows as partitions instead of walls. Kinky lil thai folk. Badly need some sleep now so am ...
