... idea at some point, the area was covered in poo and smelt. I was not happy so we trudged back uphill to another ski lift only to find the same. At this point I was getting a bit grumpy. Luckily the rain stopped so we found a poo free spot and had lunch.
We retraced our steps downhill with the rain following us and it has rained on and off since we got back – no change there. We leave tomorrow to head further north and to more mountains.
... The sign post at Bochet de Spinera helped make up our minds. It would have taken too long to get to the far peak along the ridge and then back down the mountain. I didn’t fancy getting back to the campsite at 8pm that night.
The route we chose took us to Malga Giu, a beautiful and remote farm house in the middle of an alpine meadow filled with wild flowers and cows. After seeing no-one all morning, we saw another three couples all out ...

I had about 7 minutes to race around the amazing museum before the coach took us back to Riva Del Garda. I was pretty ****** off that we only got an hour there - I was quite happy to miss the museum to get my drive in - but it would have been nice to able to spend a few hours in this famous place! Pretty obviously Trafalgar don't cater for rev head ex-farmers!
Today's tour was to Bolzano, close to the Austrian border. We arrived there late in the morning, stopping for a quick espresso at a truck stop - it's hard to get used to doing things the Italian Way when you have to pay for what you want first, then go and join the queue to get served! So simply getting a coffee takes quite a while, especially when the Italians are prone to barging in front of anyone!

... aristocrats from Austria. Then in WW2 was used to house the prominent prisoners from Dachau Concentration camp and they were held here as hostages. The hotel reels of old stories. It is like stepping back in time. Huge dinning rooms and bars, all set up for the 1920's just there is no one here.
The Lake itself is very busy with bus loads of tourists and walkers coming up to do the view and hikes. We could do an over night ...
