... recovered cannon, army HQ's, the two largest mausoleums, the ironclad boat and several photo ops. You do get a sense of the futility of battle and also the scale and loss, a highly recommended visit..... The ironclad was pretty awesome too....
So where next? I knew I wanted to get to Lafayette in Louisianna (explain at that entry), we had half a day, looked on the map and though Natchez (huh ???)
