    ... the 'Plus’ we seem to have a deluxe room with separate lounge and huge bed and balcony and great view. It is nice to get the good stuff some times. Dinner here (which is included) also received an A+, Only negative is that we are really close to a mosque and so will be awaken at 8 am by the call for prayer. I like the Italian church bells better - but when in Rome.....

    ... Anatalya and after more GPS misguidance, found Aspendos (Aspestos is my way of remembering it) which was an ancient Greco-Roman city. founded around 1000 BC by Greeks on the Eurymedon River. The amphitheatre has been renovated and is still used today. (More pics)

    ... Turkish pants and a top covering my shoulders he was SO happy and loved us. It was kind of odd, once I was out of my western shorts, he got fairly handsy with us, hugging us lots etc. Monday we made it to Olympos and spent the afternoon at the beach and looking at the ruins.     These are fantastic folks! Awesome sight - I will let the photos tell the story. Warm mineral, calcium rich waters cascade down the hillside in a series of pools. The travertine have attracted people to the area for 1000's of years. The ancient town of Hierapolis is based here at the top of the hill. There is a lot to explore and only 1 hour to do it. I paddled in happily, in a small series of pools ...

    Next was one of the things most tour participants dislike. Yesterday it was a jewellery outlet and today a leather outlet. Some, I admit, paid outlandish prices for both. Most, paced the floor and wanted to escape pretty soon after being corralled into the room. I will say no more!
