    Today Carne and I jumped on a tour (with 2 other kiwis and 2 Aussies from the ANZAC tour). Our first stop was the ancient ruins of Perge. The ruins cover a huge area, and is in its 60th year of restoration, all off the sculptures uncovered to date are on display at the Antalya museum.

    After the bus ride from hell, and luckily our longest stint on a bus this whole trip,we settled into Antalya and got our first non-Turkish food... Spaghetti bolognese! Wow. Food that you love tastes so much better after eating nothing but one type of food. Turkish food is good but it is basically tomato and pepper (capsicum).     We headed from goreme to Antalya (at least the old Australians helped us know how to pronounce Antalya after they corrected us) on a 9 hour bus trip. Sounded good in theory but at hour 6 with a screaming baby we were really over it and dehydrated. We were too scared to drink any water as there were no toilets on board, we didn't have any coins for the toilet and were worried we would be too long at any break and the bus would leave us ...
